BRUNSWICK SINGLE ESTATE AND NATURAL EARL GREY TEAS
Robert Wilson is an expert on Sri Lanka’s seven major tea districts containing 32 agro-climates, as recognised by his 2015 award winning teas.He has chosen for Marlborough two teas produced in 2016; the first is a Brunswick single estate English Breakfast tea from the Dimbula district and the second, a Natural Earl Grey tea also from a single estate and flavoured with Bergamot oil, a rare treat appreciated by Earl Grey connoisseurs.
The loose tea comes in a wooden box made from Albizia Moluccana. These trees provide shade in the tea plantations. The boxes carry the Marlborough College crest as well as full details of how to make the best pot of tea. They measure 5 ½ x 3 ¾ x 2 ¾” or 14 x 10 x 7cms, and contain a sealed bag of 4.414 oz or 125gms loose tea.
